Furnished Apartment Style Housing
The top four floors of the Helen L. DeRoy Apartments were renovated in 2010 as furnished undergraduate spaces. These apartments come with a renovated kitchen, living room and bedroom furniture and new carpet. Students wishing to live a furnished apartment must have sophomore class standing or higher Students living in a DeRoy Furnished Apartment are not required to have a meal plan. Meal plans are available if the resident chooses to purchase one.
Apartment Types
Furnished Efficiency: A furnished efficiency apartment is a single occupancy studio space for one resident. It comes furnished with a bed, dresser, desk, sofa, and kitchen table. The units include a kitchen area and private bathroom as well.
Furnished One Bedroom: A one bedroom apartment where two residents share a bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathroom. Units include two beds, dressers, a sofa, sofa chair, bar stools and desks.
Furnished Two Bedroom: A two bedroom apartment that provides each resident with his or her own furnished room. Residents in this apartment share a kitchen, bathroom and living room. Additionally, the unit includes a coffee table, sofa chair, sofa, and a dining bar.
DeRoy Furnished Apartments house a Special Interest Community to Students who are 21 & Up Community. This community is reserved for residents who are 21 and older, and looking to live with other older students.
