All of the license agreements for our unfurnished apartments are signed through April 30, 2017.  That means the only way an apartment will become available is if someone cancels their agreement.  Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing when or even if someone is going to cancel until they actually submit a cancellation form.  Because of that, we cannot predict when or even if an apartment will become available before April 30, 2017.  Also, there are no temporary accommodations available either.

  • If you know of someone that already has an apartment and you would like join them, you and your roommate would need to read and complete an APARTMENT ROOMMATE REQUEST FORM.  You can find the form at http://housing.wayne.edu/forms-policies.php. Please return the completed form in to the Housing Office or you can scan it back to me.  There is no deadline to submit the form.
  • We do not assign roommates in the unfurnished apartments.  However we have created a face book page that we hope will serve as a platform in assisting you find a roommate.  The face book page is not maintained by Housing.  It is up to you to check for posts regularly regarding your roommate search at https://www.facebook.com/wsuaptroommatesearch.
  • We do not have any information on off campus housing but you can go to www.detroitmidtown.com to find information regarding housing in the surrounding area.
