Getting your COVID-19 testing results

WSU residents are required to be tested for COVID-19 regularly at the Campus Health Center (CHC). Weekly testing is an important way we contribute to the health of the campus community and is a requirement to live in university housing.

 COVID-19 Results

Your test results will be available on the CHC Patient Portal at health.wayne.edu in 4-5 days. Test results are also available through MyQuest, sometimes sooner than on the Patient Portal. If you do not receive your test results after 5 business days on the Patient Portal or MyQuest, please call us or ask at your next weekly COVID-19 testing appointment.

CHC Patient Portal Steps

  1. Sign up for/login to the patient portal by going to health.wayne.edu and clicking on Patient Portal.
  2. Click on “Health Records” on the left menu bar or at the bottom of the page once logged in.
  3. Click “Other Documents.”
  4. Download your results.

MyQuest Steps

  1. Sign up for MyQuest by downloading the MyQuest App or going to MyQuest.QuestDiagnostics.com.
  2. Check your email from Quest and click on the link to confirm your email address.
  3. Login to your MyQuest account using the username and password you chose when you signed up.
  4. Select “Verify my Identity.” Accept the Patient Authorization (HIPAA Authorization). Complete the process.
  5. You are all set! You will now receive your Quest Diagnostics test results through your MyQuest account.

Step by Step Process for Making your Free COVID Testing

  1. Sign up for the patient portal by going to health.wayne.edu and clicking on Patient Portal.
  2. Make your weekly appointment by calling CHC at 313-577-5105
    1. Please leave a voicemail if we do not answer and we will call you back as soon as we can.
  3. Complete the Campus Daily Screener by going to wayne.edu/coronavirus. Complete the online form or download the WSU application. You do NOT have to answer “YES” on the daily screener stating you have a pending COVID-19 test if it pertains to the mandatory testing appointment.
  4. Bring your WSU OneCard and Government-issued ID & arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete any forms
  5. Your test results will be uploaded to the Patient Portal in 4-5 days or you can check MyQuest.
  6. Before you leave the Campus Health Center, please schedule your next appointment for the following week.
