Yousif B. Ghafari Hall

Ghafari Hall opened in 2002 on Wayne State University's campus and is home to primarily first year students. It has five floors, each specified with a specific theme or Living Learning Community. Students really like the smaller, home-like feel that Ghafari Hall brings. Ghafari hall features a newly-renovated Starbucks and an Einstein's Bagels so you never have to go far for coffee. Additionally, there are many opportunities to be a leader in Ghafari Hall, such as being on the Ghafari Hall Council. Ghafari Hall Council is a board that helps bring change and creative events to the hall.

The most unique thing about Ghafari Hall is that each floor brings something different and offers a place for like-minded individuals to learn and grow together. The Resident Advisors on the living-learning floors often share the same major or identity, so they are equipped to connect the residents of their floors to resources that help with their success as students.
