University Towers Apartments

University Towers Apartments opened in 1995. This modern 11-story complex is located one block south of Forest Ave at the southern edge of main Campus and just west of the School of Medicine. University Towers offers spacious one, two and three bedroom units. University Towers is the home to many student athletes, graduate students and their families. We have a very diverse community with students from various parts of the world. Students who wish to live in University Towers must be at least 20 years of age or in Junior standing.

  • Air conditioning and heat controls in each apartment. (Engineers turn on either air conditioning or heat depending on the time of year and temperature outside, as both cannot be turned on at the same time.)

  • Laundry facility on the main floor
  • Child care center and WDET Radio located within the building
  • Refrigerator and stove provided

Typically, within University Towers, floors 2-5 are reserved for undergraduate level students and floors 6-11 are reserved for graduate students.
